T3 Modeling of thermomechanical fatigue of additively manufactured components
Project C4 was finished and is now transferrd into project T3. The aim if this project is to transfer the mechanism-based creep model, which has been developed in project C4, to the case of thermomechanical fatigue (TMF) of both, single crystals and polycrystals. Model validation is achieved based on existing and new experimental results of TMF properties of conventionally cast and additively manufactured alloys. The transfer project aims at improving our understanding of TMF mechanisms and to make TMF behavior of components predictable.
