T5 Protective coatings and repair processes

Project B6 was finished and transferred to project T5. Within the transfer project T5 coating solutions evaluated in the predecessor project B6 will be further developed and transferred to application oriented environments. At first, highly kinetic thermal spray processes will be developed for the repair of single and polycrystalline nickel base alloys as well as the coating of additive manufactured variants. Furthermore, innovative, columnar thermal barrier coatings on nickel base super alloys
